When Funny Cats Bite

Funny Cats Pictures

Going trough some pictures of cats I found this and it reminded me of my funny cats. Actually one funny cat.
But why do pet cats bite when you pet them? Petting aggression in pet cats is absolutely normal, and while there’s no real explanation it’s possible that cats have some mixed emotions about the petting. Most adult cats don’t touch each other except in some situatons, so even though your cat looks pleased it may realize that this is not normal. And this usually results in biting.
Your pet cats don’t do this because they hate you, or because they are mad at you. They don’t have an attitude problem or something like that, and while to you the biting came out of nowhere, from your cat’s point of view it already showed you several times that it had enough. Once you learn to recognize these signs you’ll know when to stop. Most of the time your cat stops purring and shifts it’s body position. Other signs usually include tail-lashing or thumping, ear flicking or rotation sideways, skin rippling, growling and other not so friendly cat sounds. So before you get into a catfight with one of your pet cats try to notice these little signs.
I have to say I was pretty lucky with my cute little Funny cats. Only one of them was a biter. Let’s just say people realized pretty quickly why we picked Fang out of all cat names available.
